THE COURSE
The Dick
Beardsley Half Marathon, 2 person relay and 5K run/walk
begin at the Pavilion on the City Beach. The courses are fully certified by the USATF. It
takes you on a loop through downtown Detroit Lakes and
circles scenic Detroit Lake. Ample water stations and
numerous bathroom facilities will be located along the
course. Showers are available at the Detroit Lakes Community & Cultural Center.

Pavilion at 8:30 a.m.
Kids 1K starts at 11:00 a.m.
PRE-REGISTRATION
Send entry forms to the Detroit Lakes Community and
Cultural Center. To be eligible for pre-registration
discount, entries must be received on or before
September 1st . You may also register the day of the
event starting at 7:00 a.m. On-line registration
available at
Active.com
through September 1st. Race packets are
available the morning of the races or may be picked up
September 5th from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the Pavilion.

Lakes Community & Cultural Center (826 Summit Avenue)
The cost is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for ages 4-12,
children 3 and under free. Pay at the door. Dick and
Patti will be speaking at 7:30 p.m.

KID'S 1K
Run with Dick Beardsley at 11:00 a.m. Open to kids 12
and under. All receive ribbon and shirt guaranteed if
registered by Sept. 1st.

Male and female in each event:
18 & under,
19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50 -54, 55
-59, 60 -64, 65 -69, 70 & over, and wheelchair.
AWARDS AND
RESULTS
Medals
awarded to all finishers. Awards presented to top 3 in
each division (male, female & wheelchair). Long-sleeve
performance fabric shirt to all participants. All races
timed by ChampionChip MN, Inc. Race results
will be posted online as soon as possible.
